A year and all that it holds. The laughter, the farts, the bad jokes and a few good ones. The bravado, the hope, the awkward uncertainty, the mundane and the brilliant. The beers and whisky, milk and toast. The time-outs and pirouettes. The love. That big crazy love. The hope and healing. The reflection of all that we strive to be. The appreciation of but one day more of this world. One day more with my family. One day more with my son. One day more with my beautiful girls. The quiet remembrance of a man that I do not have the right to know or speak about. I know that you were so much more than the story of your final struggle. You are a father and husband and son who is still loved. Here's to James.
